Episode 6 of The Private Pilot Podcast

Hi All!

Well, this is episode #6, so we're doing well. Before I go into the episode though I would like to say a hello to Len of the Flying Pilot Podcast. He has posted his latest one and I recommend you check it out!

So on to this episode.

Lots of things going on. I tell you a bit about night flyin, then some about an airport called Grove City, and then you get to meet Emmett Plant, who joined me on my recent Night Recurrency flight, and you get to hear the cockpit recording from that flight.
In the Next Episode we will talk about Airbus, and possibly I will give you a view on flying as a passenger as I fly back from Sweden.
Until then, keep flying!

The 5th Podcast with special interview!

Hello to my loyal listeners!

Ok, so this is the one you have been waiting for! I had the opportunity to attend the AOPA's Fly-In on June 2nd in Frederick, Maryland. While there I was fortunate enough to get to conduct a very special interview and it is my pleasure to bring it to you here as part of this podcast.

The person you see in the picture standing next to me (I'm the one with the hat) is Erik Lindbergh. He is the grandson of Charles Lindbergh and the spokesperson for the AOPA's Project Pilot.

The Latest Podcast!

Hi All!

Ok, here is a podcast that I finished editing on today.

The next one will follow quickly on the heels of this one, and likely be up later this week.
This episode I discuss the Fokker Aircraft Company and interview airline pilot who is also a CFI.

For my next Episode I will be letting you all take a peek into the AOPA Expo. Got two short interviews, and therefore I will taylor my History portion toward the second one. I will give you a History of "The Spirit of St. Louis". That's right ;) You guessed it! I got an interview with Erik Lindbergh! Check back in a few days. Until then, here is the latest episode!

Safe Flying!

Thursday, May 31, 2007

Sorry for the delay, just two more days.

Ok....wow....It's been a while. I do have an update. Due to a flight not happening, the really cool program I though I would get up won't happen yet, but rather toward the end of Summer. Instead, I will upload what I do have tomorrow and follow it by another one shortly there after.

The next pocast will be a brief history of the Fokker Company and an interview with Dave A., who is a CFI, CFII, MEI and ATP and currently flies for an Airline as a First Officer. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddel and a good pilot.

The Podcast after that will likely be from the AOPA Expo in Frederick, MD which is coming up this weekend, assuming nothing changes in my plans.

Happy flying!

New Podcast coming up soon!

Hi all!

Well, a new podcast will be coming up soon. Very likely this weekend. I will have Dave on as my Special Guest. Dave is another friend who is a CFI, CFII and MEI as well as a First Officer for an Airline. He will join me and giv you all a report on my flying as he will take his second flight with me on Saturday. In addition we will speak some about getting a job with the airlines for those of you who want to and what you need and have to do to move in that direction.

I will also include another history segment. This time I will look at the Fokker Aircraft Company. This is one of those that has stood the test of time and is still around today. Some of you may have flown on the Fokker F-27, a turbo-prop aircraft used by many airlines on commuter flights.

I would like to do a shout out to Smartie, my new friend from Australia and wish her luck in geting her medical issues solved so she can start flying as well :)

Keep flying the dream!

Hi again all!

Well, this is my second podcast. I am still tweaking the format for my intro as you can tell. This one is kind of corney, but moving in the right direction. If any one you have some ideas for incedental music I can use, let me know. Always open to suggestions.
